sorikana arctic wolf pack

A new life, a new begining, thats what the wolves of Sorika sought. Though now they call themselves the wolves of Sorikana. Their old home destroyed by the humans that invaided it. They headed to a new land, to have a new life. Having to rely on each other, they have grown into a large family. Helping each other through thick and thin. Now they have found a new land, and call it Sorikana, after their old land, but something a bit different. Here they are just begining to figure out their territory and what secrets it may have, along with the loners that may appear.

Lacie: bic// After fleeing his previous home, Amaroq knew not where to go. He felt alone in this new area, but at least he was safe. Though he felt very bad about the rest of them, to him it seemed as though they had perished, but the truth still had to reviel its self. He did however, hope that indeed they were alive somewhere and he'd be able to see them again. As he walked across the rugged terrain, he thought of what he was going to do now. He didn't have a home, family or pack. Those three in which he really had wanted. He kept his ears and eyes alert for anything that might be in this mysterious area

Iceblaze: Bic:Blizzard ran accross the cold ground, running from what might be behind her.She had been running for almost a day now and she was tired but somehow she managed to keep going. She had finally reached this land that she had not encountered before on her many journies. She missed the pack alot and the land that she had lived in for such a short time. She had guessed that some of the pack had perished and some had found a way out like her.She gave a lonely howl and then ammediatly fell silent for fear that something unwanted might
hear her.

Lacie:
Amaroq sniffed the cold air as he moved swiftly across the ground. His eyes, and ears were alert, but the rest of his body was weak. He couldn't hold out for too much longer, this constant running wasn't helping at all. Oh if only there was somewhere he knew was safe. To the side of him he heard a lonely how, but this sounded quite familar. Amaroq knew that it could be just about anyone though and that someone else could be out there waiting for someone to make a sound. Instead of returning the call, he made his way twoards the direction it came from, letting off a low growl to warn whoever it might be that he would fight for his life. His fur was already singed, and matted. Mud and sores covered it as well. If one from his old pack found him, they would probably not recognize him for his appearance had changed greatly

Iceblaze:
flicked Blizzard heard a growl but she didn't dare reply. She was burned on one of her paws and her pelt was covered in dirt and soot. She stopped in her tracks and sat down.Whoever it was could come to her.She was extremely tired and she had barely eaten for a while now.All she could do was hope that this wolf would be friendly and wouldn’t harm her.Although she was tired, Blizzard was quite alert. Her ears flicked back and forth as the wolf came closer to her.

Lacie:
Soon the wolf was in his view, but the fae was covered in soot and dirt. Though she looked vaguely familar. He dare not let his guard down though, for he could be in grave danger. Ever since that fateful day, he hasn't been in any sort of contact with another wolf, no, in fact he was completely out of his rightful mind right now. If only he could gain it back, then he'd be able to tell who this was easily. Continuing on with his low growl he asked in an angered voice, "Why are you calling one? They won't return there is no one out there, everyone is gone." He had added a bit of a snap at the begining, why would one want to have someone close and then lose them? That made no sense, he made that mistake once, and he wouldn't make it again

Iceblaze:
Blizzard gave a puzzled look. She didn't recognize the wolf in front of her,yet he was talking as if the same thing had happened to him."I have not a clue what you are talking about. My name is blizzard if you must know."she said. She gave no respect to this wolf as he was clearly not the Alpha of any pack in this land.He looked as ragged as her if not more.

Lacie: Amaroq stopped his growling as he heard her her name. Surely it couldn't be Blizzard, the one he knew. No it must be some sort of trick he thought. But he didn't pick his growling back up, no something about this fae was different. Maybe it was her, but he wasn't sure. This brute contiued his constant interegation to the fae. "And where might you come from and why?" he said coldly.

Iceblaze: Blizzard sighed."If you need to know I came from Sorika.I have gone back to my wandering as the pack has been..."Blizzard couldn't manage to get the words off of her tongue and say them. She had been there for such a small amount of time and already the wolves of Sorika had become family to her.

Lacie: Amaroq's eyes widened a bit as he heard her say Sorika, but just to have a little fun, he thought he'd let her figure out who he was. "So I take it your alpha was Silver Moon, and after the recent incidents you believe your pack is indeed dead?"

Iceblaze: Blizzard slowly nodded her head and faintly recognised the tone of voice this wolf used. She wasn't sure about him though and she decided to ask her own questions now."And who do I have the pleasure of meeting in this land and how did you come by that information?"she asked. This wolf had to be someone from around Sorika to know about SilverMoon. her.

Lacie: "Oh, you mean you have no clue whom you are talking to? Pitty, I thought my knowing of that information would be enough to trigger you memory." Amaroq said with a smirk on his face, she had two guesses, he looked exactly like his father, so she could guess wrong. "And things happen when your around." He continued to answer how he knew this information.

Iceblaze: At the smirk of the wolf,a surge of recognition ran through Blizzard's mind."Amaroq!"she exclaimed in almost a whisper. She couldn't beleive that he had known who she was and didn't say who he was.'Then again,it was like Amaroq to do somehing like this.'she thought to herself.

Lacie: Amaroq smirked as she realized who he was. Not that he knew that it was her at first, he had to figure it out, but then again she was straight forward and he was not. He moved forward and nuzzled her some. "I'm so glad your alright," he whispered to her.

Iceblaze: Blizzard nuzzled Amaroq back."I'm glad that you're alright too.Do you know where anyone else is?"she asked.Blizzard was hoping he did,she desperatly wanted to see her friends again.

Lacie: Amaroq nodded no sadly, "I'm so sorry Blizzard, I haven't seen any trace of anyone, but I'm sure if we look we might find them." He wanted to reasure her that everyone was alright; he remembered how he had acted when he thought that everyone was gone. He was a totally different then normal not even himself

Iceblaze: "Yes, you’re probably right. But right now could we find some food?” Blizzard was starving, she hadn't eaten much for a few days and she was becoming weak.

Lacie: Amaroq listened to Blizzard reply and then added in some himself. "Yes, I suppose food would be good right now." He didn't realize how hungry he was until now. "In fact, I'm sure there is a caribou around here that I passed awhile back

Iceblaze: Blizzard's ears perked up at the mention of caribou."Alright, which direction were they headed?” she asked eagerly. Hunting around this new land would also give them the chance to look around for pack members.

Lacie: Amaroq couldn't help but let a little laugh escape from his throat when Blizzard perked her ears when he said caribou. "It was behind me some, but also to the left... I think, its kind of hard to remember I wasn't in my right mind..." His voice trailed off, he didn't know if Blizzard knew that he wasn't pretending to act the way he did before, but it didn't matter anymore

Iceblaze: "Okay. Try to remember and we'll start off the way you think they were.” Blizzard laughed too. Her stomach could easily take control of her body when she was that hungry. She turned to face the direction Amaroq had mentioned.

Lacie: Amaroq seemed to make up his mind rather quickly; he didn't want to wait for too long. "This way, I'm sure of it!" He exclaimed and turned to where he had pointed to before. The air was great and clear, and as he lifted his maw he kept his nose open to pick up any trace of this beast. Surely they might be able to take a weak one down together, but alone there was no way. So they had to work together, which they had done before, at least he thought so.

Iceblaze:

"Okay, you lead.” Blizzard said. If one of them found out where the caribou were, it would be Amaroq. She ears perked up again, trying to find the slightest scent of their soon to become prey.

Lacie: Not giving an answer Amaroq kept his senses alert, looking for the slightest movement, sound, or scent of a caribou. Not after too long, a scent of the heard picked up his notice. "This way," he whispered and changed his direction slightly.

Iceblaze: Blizzard kept silent and followed Amaroq. She could now faintly hear the heard a ways from where they were. She almost drooled when they got close enough to smell them, but instead she focused on keeping her mouth shut.

Lacie: He looked behind him and saw Blizzard start to drool a bit. He just slowed down and began to watch the herd. Amaorq's body was low and he looked for a weak caribou that would be easy to take out. He spotted one near the back of the herd and looked at Blizzard. "You see that one?" He asked in a low voice, "In the back, it looks weak enough to take out."

Iceblaze: "Yes, I see It.” she said hugrily.she waited for Amaroq to lead the attack.

Lacie: Amaroq nodded and watched the herd. He would wait until it was a little bit aways from in and then go in. Making the chances of success for the two much greater. "Ok, you take the left flank and I'll take the right." He whispered and stalked out to the right, being careful not to spook it until Blizzard was ready.

Iceblaze: Blizzard padded to the left and waited until Amaroq signaled to move.

Lacie: Amaroq saw that Blizzard was ready to go and moved forward. His cover didn't go too long though, for soon one of the caribou spotted him and the whole herd spooked. He decided it was now or never and started to run to the one he had pointed out, hoping Blizzard would be there soon.

Iceblaze: Blizzard sprang forward towards the caribou they had seen before. She was weak but the promise of food kept her going.

Lacie: Amaroq sprinted to the caribou that was their target. He aimed for the throat, but missed and only managed to grab part of its forequarters. Hopefully Blizzard would have better luck, but for now he wouldn't let go.

Iceblaze: Blizzard reached the caribou and leaped on its back and tried to bring it to the ground where they could get at more easily. She dug into its back with her sharp teeth.

Lacie: Amaroq could feel the caribou going down, as long as he wasn't underneath it he was good. Same with Blizzard, no one needed to get hurt right now. He kept a firm grip but moved slight up making his way to the neck.

Iceblaze: Blizzard stayed atop the caribou and kept ripping at its back. The caribou fell to the ground but was not dead yet.

Lacie: Amaroq saw his opportunity to get the neck of the beast as it fell. With a quick movement his jaw attatched to the throat of the caribou. Soon the animal went limp and he let go of it

Iceblaze: Blizzard leaped off of the caribou's back as it lay limp on the ground."Well that wasn't to hard."Blizzard panted. She hadn't been hunting in quite a while and she was happy that they didn't get hurt at all in the process:

Lacie: "Yes, I agree I thought it would have been a bit harder then that, but oh well. I guess we just got some good luck." Amaroq answered, "Feel free to dig in, I'll be right back, I'm going to find a stream to get a drink”.

Iceblaze: "Okay."Blizzard said before starting to eat her share of the caribou. It felt so good to be releived of the terrible hunger pains she was having.

Lacie: Amaroq left and then returned, he didn't have any luck in finding water. "We'll have to search father for water, I can't seem to find any nearby." He said and then turned to eat his share of the caribou. Oh how good it felt to have a full stomach.

Iceblaze: Blizzard finished her mouthful before saying"I'm sure there's water somewhere around this land."she said hopefully.

Lacie: "True, there has to be some sorce of water if animals are around here, well lets hope we can find it." Amaroq answered and layed down for he was finished with his meal.

Iceblaze: Blizzard sat down and thought about the others. Were they safe?If so did they find a better land then this?Questions filled her head.

Lacie: Amaroq looked over to Blizzard and saw her in thought. "What are you thinking about?" He asked, and looked around for any sign of life. For nothing was around now that they had scared the caribou off

Iceblaze: "Oh,just thinking about the others and where they might be."she said and looked over at Amaroq.

Lacie: Amaroq nodded and looked around. "I'm sure they have to be around here somewhere, they can't just disappear can they? And I'm sure they are still alive."

Iceblaze: "Yes,they probably are. When we go looking for water we should also look for somewhere to stay the night in."she said, knowing that they would need to have shelter.

Lacie: "Yes, a place to stay over night would be a good thing. Unless we want to be out in the open, which probably isn't a good idea." He added and stood up. Amaroq knew they needed to get going, he waited for Blizzard before he started off.

Iceblaze: Blizzard rose to her feet."Let's go."she said and waited for Amaroq to lead.

Lacie: "Yes, lets go!" Amaroq exclaimed and walked off in a random direction keeping his eyes open and looking for anything that would be helpful. Right now he couldn't help but wonder what happened to the rest, hopefully they would be ok.

Iceblaze: Blizzard followed Amaroq keeping her eyes and ears alert for water, shelter,or any of the wolves.

MEERKAT: Tikomi was far beyond the outskirts of Sorika, everyone disappeared before her eyes as the semi tore down home and bulldozers coming in. The old home Tikomi remembered is now and industry, a city for which no wolf can stay in. She walked away from home, holding the sorrow tightly that no one can see her sorrow. Tikomi still could not talk but she had gotten use to it. She was far enough away from the site and unable to hear human machines. Tikomi found out she was left behind while the others fled to another home. She howled to the sky and maybe they would hear her. Tikomi did not stop her walking and nor did she want to give up for either food or water. She wondered as she walked, "Two years of tragic ...it's unbelievable... it can't be true. What happened to the Arctic Wolves... what happened to Sorika..." Tikomi thought. It denied her to stop, memories of blood shed we're everywhere. Tikomi had traveled 100 miles. She looked around and howled once more.

Lacie: Amaroq was very hopeful that they would find some sort of anything. For one his fur was still in bad shape, covered in so much junk that he looked more of a brown instead of black. While he kept looking and listening he heard a faint howl which caught his attention. "Blizzard!" he called softly, "You hear that?"

Iceblaze: Yes!” She said and tried to restrain herself from running towards the howl without knowing who it was.

Meerkat: Tikomi saw moving black specks but their were two. It looked as if they were two bison, have they returned from winter? Wait it can't be, they look like wolves from where she was but couldn't tell. She ran down the hill quickly, she kept her traction from ever toppling down the hill. It was going to be a long way but she had to see who it was.

Lacie: Amaroq howled a response and then turned to Blizzard, "Well lets go see who this is!" He exclaimed and started to run twoards the sound. Oh how he wished it was someone he knew, that would be great right now. They needed to get the family back together.

Meerkat: Tikomi was running really fast because gravity was pulling her down. "Hmm, they image seems to a bit clearer. A black wolf but didn't see the white wolf. I somewhat seen him before?" She said and felt just a tad bit confuzzled. She approached closer and than stopped while examining the black brute by sniffing him.
